Well, today is day number 25 out of 50. In less than a month, I have driven 6000 miles across 26 states, been from the beaches of Florida to the mountains of New England, the most populated city in the country and the smallest state, the nation’s capital and villages that aren’t even on the map. And yet, I still have a long way to go.
The most frequent question I get from friends is undoubtedly, “Are you tired of it yet?” And there’s really no right answer to that question. Driving can be tiring, but I can’t afford to let myself get tired of it.
Looking back at the first half of my trip, I’m happy with what I’ve done, and yet know I can do better for the second half. When I originally left I had an unmatched passion to see places and make blog updates. The last few days I have been proud of myself just to get to my destination for the night.
Though this is my trip, y’all and this blog are a huge part of it, and I know that I have been sort of letting the blog fall by the wayside recently, which is completely unacceptable to me. So, let me know how I can improve, what you’d like to see, anything you can let me know that lets me make this blog more awesome, I want to hear it.
As I said, this may be the halfway point of the trip, but I still have a lot of America to see, and in turn a lot to share with you guys, and I hope you’ll stick around with me to the end.
Finally, something really awesome is coming tomorrow! I’ll be posting it as soon as humanly possible, but all I know is that it will be up sometime tomorrow.
