48 States, 50 Days

Hi! My name is Greg Lockwood, and this summer I am driving through all 48 contiguous United States. In an effort to share this journey with the world, I'll be posting daily videos of my travels, and probably some other randoms stuff as well. I hope you'll follow me in this trip to discover America, and maybe even see me on the road.

Hey everyone. I don’t know about you all, but I have had a hell of an Independence Day. I left Chattanooga, TN around 9:30 this morning, and drove 450 miles for seven and a half hours, across five states (Tennessee, Georgia, Kentucky, Indiana, and Missouri). Almost as soon as I got to my hotel in St. Louis, I had to leave to catch a Metro Line rail downtown to the Gateway Arch to see The B-52s in concert before a fireworks show. And that is exactly what happened. All I could do was sit there listening to The B-52s, thinking “This is really my life. Sitting underneath the Gateway Arch in St. Louis on Independence Day listening to a New Wave 80’s band. Amazing.”
