Hey everyone! As some of you may or may not know, yesterday was Day #50, which means I arrived back at home in Texas yesterday. I know I failed big time at updating this thing during the last leg of the trip. It was mainly due to the fact that I had so much driving since the states are so big in the West, but that’s still not a very good excuse. I have a backlog of pictures and stories, so I will be playing catch up over the next few days.
After that, I will be using this blog to update and chronicle the process of trying to get a book published by a major publishing house, including querying literary agents, writing a book proposal, and ultimately the manuscript itself. I can’t say how often it will get updated on that side of things, as the processes take quite a while. Often you won’t hear back from a literary agent about your query for several weeks, and that is only if they are interested and want to see the proposal, and it is considered unprofessional in the industry to query more than one agent/agency at a time, so as I said it can take a while before progress is made.
Anyway, thanks everyone for following the blog, for putting up with my breaks in updating the blog, and just because I am home doesn’t mean that I won’t still be posting here.
